I find Twallan's mods to be the most useful! I have the Master Controller, Woohooer, Decensor, Overwatch, and Story Progression.

You could use AwesomeMod, which does a lot of things all at once (lots of bug fixes and additions to the game) but you have to be careful with it, and you wouldn't be able to combine it with other mods that conflict with it's features - take a look at the site so you can see exactly what it does: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/in鈥?/a>



Others I find useful are little things like the nointro mod which takes out the annoying videos from the game start up, so you just skip straight to the loading screen: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?鈥?/a>
