After installing mods, Sims 3 town, buildings flashing red?

I am currently playing sims 3, i have every expansion pack except high end loft stuff, and recently installed a few mods... i went to play the game, exicted with the mods that i just downloaded and installed, but everything in the town (bridgeport) is flashing red, this is really annoying..i tried removing all of the mods, and still its red. Does anybody have a solution?After installing mods, Sims 3 town, buildings flashing red?
if you've exhausted all possible solutions then you need to run a good detailed virus checker, failing that you'll have to do the shitty process of uninstalling the game and reinstalling
