OMG!! I've done all the work and have watched video after video, but I can't get ANY mods to work on The Sims 3! I've put in the mods file in The Sims root folder and the packages folder and then put in the packages inside, but it never works! I also have the Resource.rar, so don't ask about that. What should I do??!How to make The Sims 3 Mods Work?
Well if place the mods in the proper folders they should work, But you also have to install them so you need Delphy's Monkey Installer you place that in the mods folder right click it and on the menu you should see something that says Install to Sims 3 then you do the same thing to your mods in there say you have the Awesomemod, you would place it in the mods folder - right click it and click install to sims 3. you icons for your mods should be a little monkey face, which means you have delphys frame work installed properly. So you have to make sure your also installing them not just putting them in the folder.
