To somebody out there who has successfully installed sims 3 mods?

So, I have windows 7, and every single sims 3 game yet. I want to put on mods for my game, but I never can. I put in the Mods, and Packages folder. I installed helper monkey. When it said I didn't have framework, I put it in the framework (I don't think correctly), and it still said no framework. I tried everything and it still does not work. Help?To somebody out there who has successfully installed sims 3 mods?

What framework?

You jst make the whole mods folder in the 'electronic arts' file in "program files".

If you've downloaded and installed the monkey you don't need to anything else.

Just download hair, skins, piercings etc. As normal on peggyzone or wherever you download it.

Then just zip it, a monkey file should show up, then paste on the mods file (don't put it in the skins file because it won't work)
I have instaled it but it was on window NINE
